Home Again, Eh

Hello Boo Blog Buddies,

Today I went home to my mama in heaven.  Niece took such good care of me here on Earth and now I'm back with Grammie.  It's good here - beautiful and with unlimited hockey games to watch. MOL!!  Niece is sad but humans always are, which is ok cause they love us a lot.

I know it's been a very long time since Niece has done her duties here on my blog.  Life settled in really well and I enjoyed every moment, and it was ok as it gave Niece more time to hang out with us.  In December 2014, my American roommie Lila went over the rainbow bridge (and she's actually here with me now), but I got a new roommie named Cosette that month.  Cosette and I became the best of friends!  It was such a wonderful thing the last few years of my earthly life. We had a blast!

In March 2015, The Boy left.  That was very sad and difficult on Niece.  We missed him too, but Niece did everything to keep our lives super fabulous!  He had been around a very long time, and I guess Niece still talks to him, but he never came back home.  That made me the man of the house which was an honor.  Niece and I watched a lot of hockey too cause in October 2017 Vegas got a hockey team baby!!  FOR REALS!!! Now I was loyal to my Canadiens, but I gotta say, those Knights are the real deal.  What a first year!

In February 2018, my roommie Frankie went over the rainbow bridge (she's here too and let me tell you, she's as chatty as ever) and Niece did the unthinkable --- she got another D-O-G that April!!  So now we were in a house with TWO D-O-Gs.  Meow, eh!!!

However, the new doggie needed a good home and she's been wonderful for Niece.  I was actually very grateful Niece found her.  And our original D-O-G enjoys the company.  So a happy home we had indeed!!! (Did I forget to mention the original D-O-G came in February 2014 --- maybe that's why Niece got too busy to blog. MOL!)

I started losing weight this year, mother nature knew I had to.  See I had a heart murmur - one that was pretty bad actually.  The fact I got to rock my 15th birthday in July 2018 was awesome!  But as time went on, the old ticker got tired.  But it was a great life and I cannot complain.  I lived in two countries and had the greatest of families!!

Niece hugged me tight early this morning, and I wasn't afraid as Grammie was there waiting and so happy to see me!  And I'll always be with Niece until we meet again on this side.

Thank you for following my adventures.  It made a good old Canadian boy feel very welcome here in the States.  You guys have a very lovely nation please continue to take good care of it and each other.

And don't forget GO KNIGHTS GO!!!  Hockey for life and beyond, eh!!

Happy Valentine's, Eh!

Well there goes Niece again - ignoring my blog for other human things like work and sleep.  I sleep most of the day, and I still get things done.  I don't know why humans can't figure it out.  Glad I'm a cat, eh!  

Anywho, because it's Valentine's Day I told Niece I wouldn't stand for having my page go silent.  Especially because I wanted to make sure I sent Valentine's Day wishes to my true love - Newbe.  For as long as I've lived here, I've asked her to be mine; but alas, her love still eludes me.  What is a lonely heart to do?  Watch more hockey I suppose...

Dear Santa, Eh!

Dear Santa,

I don't need anything for Christmas. I just wanted to remind you that the kibble is off limits for you, the elves, and that gaggle of reindeer.  

However, Vegas can offer you a lovely buffet option at a reasonable price with a slot card.  You need some protein anyway, eh!

9 Years and 364 Days, Eh!

Tomorrow is the big 1-0!  Seriously, being 10 is not a big deal.  It's not like the Canadiens won the Stanley Cup, eh!  Sometimes I dream about that giant hockey trophy filled with magnificent kibble.  Now that would be the way to have a birthday pawty, eh!!

Canada Day, Eh!

Niece didn't forget Canada Day, but she did forget to update my bloggy... I realize I don't pay her much to be my social media manager, but come on - it's Canada Day for meowing out loud!  So I apawlogize that this post isn't dated July 1... the real Canada Day.

I guess I can forgive her though, she did just give me a pawsome brushy brush, and she's been busy doing good things like taking photos of some anipals that need to find a home.  Check out this little fella!  He's no Boo man, but he'll still probably find his furever home pretty quick.  He's got some great shelter folks taking good care of him.

Just a reminder, we're in the big July countdown to my whiskertastic 10th birthday!  I can't wait.  I'm going to party like I'm 5.

What The Cat, Eh?!

WHAT THE CAT, MAN!!  Niece hasn't posted for me in over a year.  HAS SHE LOST HER FURBALL MIND?  My fans have been denied all that is Boo Biggins.  It's just not right, eh!

Ok, I guess I can relax my whiskers and throw her some slack.  She is really busy with that thing the humans have called a "job", and then she's always reading books and doing homework.  The last time I did my hockey homework, I had to take a 4 day snoozer.

Anymeow, after begging Niece to update my blog, she said ok.  Especially since I now have over 1,000 Twitter fans.  That is whiskertastic, eh!

Just Another Day At The Office, Eh!

Niece has been doing lots of work, and I've been by her side helping out.  I'm a great assistant, eh!   Check it out:

leave the office.... ok, ok, so we're not really in an office and I'm rolling

Yup, I'm so happy I don't have a job.  Being a cat is pawsome, eh!  Humans work way too hard.  All those silly computers and phones.  Good thing I'm so handsome - I get by on my good looks, eh!

New Twitter Pal, Eh!

Niece and The Boy watch a show called The Voice and there's this guy on there named CeeLo Green... I like to think that the Cee stands for Canada, eh! *MOL*

Mr. Green has a cat named Purrfect and Niece just found that Purrfect not only has a Twitter account but also a Facebook page.  JUST LIKE ME!!  So what I want to know is why am I not on television, eh?

Snoozerfest Saturday, Eh

Hey fans!  The roommates and I have tickets to this weekend's Snoozerfest.  We've been gearing up all week for this pawsome event, eh! I've made sure to pack sunpuddles and kibble for the day.  Check out how we prepared we are!

You Call It Football, I Call It Hairball, Eh!

Meow, meow, meow.... the Super Bowl is on.  Whatever, eh!  It's no hockey game, so I don't get what all the buzz is about.  I mean there's no ice, no sticks,  no fist fights.  And even worse, there was a half-time show with some singer lady from the 1980's!  If there is not a zamboni entertaining me at a half time, I'm not interested.

The coach for the Patriots must think it's going to snow though because he's wearing a hoodie.  Coaches in hockey don't wear hoodies!!  They have more style, eh!  The only good thing about Super Bowl Sunday is we get extra salmon to celebrate!  That's pawsome!!

Mellow Fellow, Eh!

Hello Boo Buddies,

Not much to report here from my lap of luxury.  My days consist of only the finest kibble, the tastiest of salmon, greatest of naps, fluffiest of fur, and stunningly handsome good looks.... oh and every once in a while I yak up a hairball.  *MOL*

Seriously though, life is grand.  Niece still picks me up and gives me those darn squeezer hugs.  I go along with it because it makes her happy but really, do they have to last that long?  Give a brother a break, would ya!  I've got hockey to watch, eh!

No Dishes, Eh!

I will not do dishes.  I don't get paid enough for that chore.  I don't like suds on my paws... the only thing I like that starts with the letter "S" is salmon.  *MOL*

Meow Year's Resolutions, Eh!

Purrs and Meows!!  Boo Man here to countdown the end of 2011 and make my list of New Year's resolutions.  Here we go!

1.) Increase snoozers by 35%.

2.) Decrease kibble noms by 2% while increasing salmon by 5%.  Time to balance out my carbs and my proteins, eh!

3.) Help Niece find my nice new Canadian flag collar Santa brought me.  She's really starting to get annoyed now, eh!

4.) Shed less and foof more.  I gotta keep it lookin' rad on this hockey body, eh!!

5.) Demand more belly rubs and fewer squeezer hugs from Niece... but not after noms and salmon.  That makes me wanna have a yak attack, eh!

6.) Help Niece with her  homework so she can manage my blog and Twitter more.  My fans are getting restless.  If she keeps slackin', I'm going to have to cut back on her loonie and toonie meow manager pay, eh!

7.) Finally catch that cheeky little laser dot - what a HOSER!

8.) Win the 2012 regional staring contest so I can move onto nationals.

9.) Watch more hockey... which may make Resolution #1 tough to achieve. (Here I am celebrating Canada's hockey gold medal in 2010!  I was doing the hockey happy dance, eh!)

10.) Demand respect of my rad hockey body at the vet's office.  I'm defensive fluffy not offensive fat.

Merry Catmus, Eh!!!

Hello Boo Buddies!!

I hope you are all having a faBOOlous Catmus this year.  The roommates and I got together this year and thought, we have a lot of kibble, salmon, toys, and woobies, so we decided to ask Santa to give lots of goodies to those kittehs that need all that stuff!

Niece helped too and made sure that lots of anipals got things they needed.

It was a blessed Catmus, eh?!

Love to all of you.  I'm going to take a pawsome snoozer and get a big squeezer hug from Niece and The Boy.  That's all I need!!
