Canada Day, Eh!
Niece didn't forget Canada Day, but she did forget to update my bloggy... I realize I don't pay her much to be my social media manager, but come on - it's Canada Day for meowing out loud! So I apawlogize that this post isn't dated July 1... the real Canada Day.
I guess I can forgive her though, she did just give me a pawsome brushy brush, and she's been busy doing good things like taking photos of some anipals that need to find a home. Check out this little fella! He's no Boo man, but he'll still probably find his furever home pretty quick. He's got some great shelter folks taking good care of him.
Niece doesn't do too bad with a camera, eh?
Just a reminder, we're in the big July countdown to my whiskertastic 10th birthday! I can't wait. I'm going to party like I'm 5.
Pawsitively Yours,
Boo

My Secret Crush, Eh!
When I first moved to Las Vegas, the roommates weren't too fond of me. I don't know if it is because I'm a boy and they're 4 girls, because I'm Canadian, or because I love hockey, but regardless they were kinda rude! Niece worked hard to make sure they were nice and minded their manners, and now we have a pretty peaceful existance. My roommate Lila is actually one of my good friends.
The hardest part of this hairball relationship with the roommies is that I fell in love at first whisker twitch with Newbe. Sadly enough though, she said I was enemy #1. She used to beat up on me so bad! They say she's American Shorthair but I'm pretty sure she's half ninja! I wanted to think that it was like humans on a playground - picking on one another when they were in love, but alas, my appleheaded girl was just plain upset. Niece suspects she may be a tomcat hater.
Since then, I've let our love story go, but I still like to watch her from afar. Recently, she started hanging out with me in my pawsome high roller's suite (a.k.a. my casita). She likes the chair by the window. I stay on my big boy bed like any fine Canadian gentletom would do, but it sure was nice to have her there, eh!
Here are some photos I took of her enjoying the morning. She sure is pretty, eh? She has such lovely colors on her fur. I used to say she wasn't calico but she was wack-o, but that was just to hide my crush.
Well, I hope your secret crush gave you a tail wave today, eh!!
Pawsitively yours,
Boo

Cupcakes, Eh!
I don't know what these cupcake things taste like, but apparently they are they all that and a bag of catnip!
Niece got these cupcakes in the mail. You may be wondering why doesn't Niece just get them at a store here in faBOOlous Las Vegas? Well, Niece says these are special cupcakes. They were made to help a very sick doggie.

March Madness, Eh!
Niece and The Boy have these crazy things called "brackets" for some event called March Madness. I guess it's the sport of basketball, which does exist in Canada - but when you have hockey, who cares!?!

Gigunda, Eh!
Niece said she showed one of my rockin' photos to her boss today, and he said I was gigunda. I'm pretty sure that was human speak for PAWSOME!

Kitteh In Need, Eh!
Boo Buddies with a Buck or Loonie Needed!

The roommates and I have it pretty good around here - we're blessed! But not all kittehs have it so good. This one little kitteh without a home has been very sick and is now undergoing some treatments to feel better! However, her rescue group and foster huMum need some help.

HuMum's Birthday, eh!

Today is my huMum's birthday. She would have been around 12 or 13 in cat years. She was a pretty fun lady, and I have no doubt she is rockin' a serious party up in heaven. Lots of cookies and tea, and then a visit to the giant Sears in the sky. HuMum loved shopping, especially at Sears.

A Day At The V-E-T, Eh!
My roommates had to go to the v-e-t this weekend. I tried to tell them it was no big deal as Dr. P. is pawsome, but they just kept complaining. I think they were just upset that all the long haired kitties were left behind to have a long haired kitty party.

Fab-BOO Fridays, Eh!
So what makes up a fab-BOO Friday besides just me and my fab-BOO-ness? It's the following pawsome things, eh!
#1.) Niece and The Boy get home

#2.) Kibble is dispensed

#3.) Head skritches occur

#4.) The laser dot shows up and I catch it (or try to)

#5.) I take a serious snoozer

Hope your Friday was fab-BOO too!

Collars, Eh!

Niece went to PetSmart today and I guess she thought we'd be cute if we all had a different color collar. Because we have microchips, we don't usually wear collars, but Keebler kinda ruined that when she tried to run out the garage one night. Niece was none-to-happy, eh!
Anyway, here are our colors:
Lila = red
Frankie = light blue (just like her eyes)
Newbe = royal blue
Keebler = purple
And I got the burnt orange, which I must say is pawsome with my fur. I look super handsome.
Based on the other available collar colors, I could have 3 more roommates, but Niece and The Boy said no. The team roster is full. The inn has no more room. The bus is outta seats. I think 4 girls to 1 boy is unfair though. We could get 3 more boys and then it would be 4 to 4. That only seems fair! *MOL* Unfortunately though one of the remaining colors is pink... that isn't a good boy color, eh?
Meow at you again soon,
The Colorful Cat Club

Lazy Day, Eh!
Yup, my roommate Newbe says it all right there in that photograph - Yawnfest 2011 is what this place is right now. It's cold and cloudy, and napping is the only good thing to do. Sleepy Sundays are pretty pawsome, I must admit.
Hope your Sunday was sleepy too!

Merry Catmus, Eh!
Merry Christmas Boo Buddies!!
It's been a pawsome morning here in Las Vegas. We got so many presents, we must have been really good this year, eh! The NORAD Santa tracker didn't show Las Vegas, but based upon all our goodies, there's no doubt he was here.
Lila got catnip fortune cookies, a fuzzy squirrel, and a fuzzy possum.
Frankie got a Peek Box and a new stick of catnip dynomite.
Newbe got a slumber ball and a chirping red cardinal.
Keebler got an Undercover Mouse and sports themed ping pong balls.
And your one and only Boo Man got a FroliCat laser and a crinkle activity mat.
Here we are playing and enjoying some of our toys.
This Undercover Mouse is scary and cool all at the same time, eh!

When Newbe saw her slumberball she climbed right on it and had a seat!

Santa put treats in here and tiny mice and bouncy balls, eh!

Why does this dot always get away?

This chirping bird needs to be taught a lesson by Newbe!

I hope this mat doesn't make my belly look fluffy, eh!

Niece says some video is coming soon too.
Hope you all had a whiskertastic Christmas morning and are now getting in a well deserved cat nap!
Meow Ho, Meow Ho, Meow Ho!
Boo

Montreal, Eh!
Niece went to Montreal for business. I wish I could have gone too and seen Canada again, but who am I kidding - I already did that flight once and that was enough. So I just asked her to bring back some photos. Here they are:
Yuppers I've flown with these guys - they were very nice, but I didn't get the in-flight kitty snack or movie. That was rude, eh!

After many hours of flying, she made it!

Look a Canadian flag! Pawsome, eh!

Niece found a Subway restaurant and all the menus were in French. Oui Oui, eh!

Niece had a great hotel downtown.

Niece said it rained. Cats don't like the rain, eh?!

Canada is pretty, eh!

Meow at you later!

The Finicky Feline Food Review, Aye?
I had the opportunity to sample a tasty dish this past weekend here at the resort. It was Atlantic salmon served with natural juices. The chef, Mr. Bubble Bee, has a unique way of vacuum sealing the salmon so it maintains a flaky texture and fresh cooked salmon flavor. He's super famous for his tuna, which is served in water or oil, but I have to say this cutting edge venture into salmon will really take him to the next level with his finicky diners.
Saturday, or what I now call Salmon Saturday, started off with me having writer's block. I was sitting in front of the computer trying to blog and just decided that I needed something from room service to get my creativity flowing. Upon delivery, the first thing I noticed was the presentation. The finely flaked fish was placed on a hand painted plate from Japan with a design of a cat on it. I was stunned that the executive chef would send such a fine piece of china for a room service order. (Have I mentioned lately how much I love this resort?) The plate was also salmon in color complimenting the vibrant color of this delectable fish.

I first smelled the fish and sat back to let it's aroma prime my palate. I then took a small bite testing its texture and temperature. It was exquisite. From there, I couldn't control myself. I ate and ate and ate as if it was Thanksgiving dinner! I think at one point I even dropped some from my mouth because it was so exciting. When I was finished, I sat back thoroughly pleased with my meal, but too tired to blog. After a meal that wonderful, a nap is necessary, aye.
So if you're ever in Las Vegas, stop by the resort and request Chef Bumble Bee's Atlantic Salmon. You won't regret it!
Pawsitively Yours,
Critic Boo Man
p.s. Speaking of fish, don't forget to check out my virtual fish bowl over on the right. You can click anywhere on the water to feed them! They would appreciate a few bits of food from my pawsome readers!
