Just Another Day At The Office, Eh!

Hi Everyone,

Niece has been doing lots of work, and I've been by her side helping out.  I'm a great assistant, eh!   Check it out:

Here I am performing my IT duties and checking
the modem.  Seems to be in order, eh.

Here I am performing my security duties.  I'm
keeping an eye out and making sure this office is safe, eh!

Here I am in the corporate meeting.
I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be promoted
soon, eh!

Time for my union break, eh!
Seems to be a lovely day.

Time to finish these documents.  However, I don't answer
phones, eh!  And there's a possibility I only type 0 words per minute.

Time for some critical thinking, eh.  We can solve
anything through sunpuddle power.

Yes, snoozers are allowed in this office, eh!

Just want to make sure I say good evening to everyone as they
leave the office.... ok, ok, so we're not really in an office and I'm rolling
around in the living room waiting for salmon.  Sue me, eh!!

Yup, I'm so happy I don't have a job.  Being a cat is pawsome, eh!  Humans work way too hard.  All those silly computers and phones.  Good thing I'm so handsome - I get by on my good looks, eh!

Pawsitively yours,
Boo

Mellow Fellow, Eh!

Hello Boo Buddies,

Not much to report here from my lap of luxury.  My days consist of only the finest kibble, the tastiest of salmon, greatest of naps, fluffiest of fur, and stunningly handsome good looks.... oh and every once in a while I yak up a hairball.  *MOL*

Seriously though, life is grand.  Niece still picks me up and gives me those darn squeezer hugs.  I go along with it because it makes her happy but really, do they have to last that long?  Give a brother a break, would ya!  I've got hockey to watch, eh!

"Is the television on the right channel?
It better not be on football."

Pawsitively yours,
Boo Man

Meow Year's Resolutions, Eh!

Purrs and Meows!!  Boo Man here to countdown the end of 2011 and make my list of New Year's resolutions.  Here we go!

1.) Increase snoozers by 35%.

2.) Decrease kibble noms by 2% while increasing salmon by 5%.  Time to balance out my carbs and my proteins, eh!

3.) Help Niece find my nice new Canadian flag collar Santa brought me.  She's really starting to get annoyed now, eh!

4.) Shed less and foof more.  I gotta keep it lookin' rad on this hockey body, eh!!

5.) Demand more belly rubs and fewer squeezer hugs from Niece... but not after noms and salmon.  That makes me wanna have a yak attack, eh!

6.) Help Niece with her  homework so she can manage my blog and Twitter more.  My fans are getting restless.  If she keeps slackin', I'm going to have to cut back on her loonie and toonie meow manager pay, eh!

7.) Finally catch that cheeky little laser dot - what a HOSER!

8.) Win the 2012 regional staring contest so I can move onto nationals.

9.) Watch more hockey... which may make Resolution #1 tough to achieve. (Here I am celebrating Canada's hockey gold medal in 2010!  I was doing the hockey happy dance, eh!)

10.) Demand respect of my rad hockey body at the vet's office.  I'm defensive fluffy not offensive fat.

Hope your 2011 was faBOOlous and here's to a whiskertastic 2012, eh!!

Pawsitively yours,
Boo

Daylight Savings, Eh!

All my U.S. Boo Buddies (except those in Arizona and Hawaii) observed daylight savings time today.  We gained an extra hour, and after talking to my roommates, this is what we think we're going to do with the additional 60 minutes.

1.) Ask for an addition serving of salmon.  Today is longer than usual after all.
2.) Watch the birds outside (who always forget to turn back their clocks) and roll around meowing out loud at them.  They don't know what time it is!!  HA HA!
3.) Reschedule my visits to the kibble bowl.  My previous schedule was nine visits: 6am, 8am, 10am, noon, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 8pm, 10pm.  Now I going to have ten visits: 5am, 7am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm, 9pm, 11pm.  I'm taking advantage of that extra hour!
4.) Add 40 minutes to my snoozer schedule leaving 20 minutes to eat, hit the litterbox, get a brushy brush and make fun of the birds.  I'm so organized, eh!

I hope you have fun with your extra hour too!

Pawsitively yours,
Boo

It's My Birthday, Eh!

Greeting Boo Buddies!!  It's an exciting day as I am 8 years old today.  That's of course in human years.  In cat years I'm just 8 times the AWESOMENESS!!

Here are a few shots from my party.  It was pretty low key this year.  Just me and Keebler and Newbe feasting on some salmon.  Tasty stuff, eh!!  Niece said she was going to give me a candle to blow out and make a wish but she said that fire is dangerous round my silky locks of fur, so instead she told me to make a wish on the laser dot.  Good idea, eh!

My party bowls.  I think Niece meant for me to have the manly looking one.

Keebler was anxious for our salmon dinner!

Newbe said she would have gotten me a gift
but she forgot to steal Niece's credit card and order
me something online.

I came fashionably late to my party.
I like to make an entrance, eh!!
Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday.  It was a great day full of snoozers in the sunshine and birthday squeezers from Niece and The Boy.  They sure do hug a lot, eh!

Pawsitively Yours,
Boo Ocho

Food Plate, Eh

I was hanging out with Niece, and she was reading this story online about a Food Plate.  I guess humans like to balance out their food.  Previously it was a pyramid.  Now it's a plate.  A balanced diet to me is when I have a belly full of kibble and I steady myself on my favorite couch, eh!  *MOL*

So here is a picture of their plate:

Here's a picture of mine:

And may I note that it is acceptable to have either fresh salmon right from the pouch or can or freeze dried salmon direct from PetSmart.  I'm not picky.

Niece says I'm a little heavy on the carbs.  I told her to talk to the paw!  This rad hockey body is a result of my precise kibble intake and regimented work outs.

Until next time!
Boo Man

Secret Mission, Eh!

There was a very special secret mission in the world yesterday, but little does the CIA (Cat Intelligence Agency, of course) know that an entirely different secret mission was going down right here.

Hockey Hangover, Eh!

Boo Buddies it has been a traumatic 24 hours.  My beloved Canadiens were defeated by the Bruins.

Cupcakes, Eh!

I don't know what these cupcake things taste like, but apparently they are they all that and a bag of catnip!

Niece got these cupcakes in the mail.  You may be wondering why doesn't Niece just get them at a store here in faBOOlous Las Vegas?  Well, Niece says these are special cupcakes.  They were made to help a very sick doggie.

Kitteh In Need, Eh!

Boo Buddies with a Buck or Loonie Needed!

The roommates and I have it pretty good around here - we're blessed! But not all kittehs have it so good. This one little kitteh without a home has been very sick and is now undergoing some treatments to feel better! However, her rescue group and foster huMum need some help.

Valentine's Day Poem, Eh!

My roommate Keebler likes to write poetry. Today she released her Valentine's Day prose. Check it out, eh!

Snow In Canada, Eh!

There has been some wacky weather going on. When I look outside in the mornings, there's a little ice on the street. The pigeons keep trying to poke at it - why I don't know. They're pigeons and they're not so smart sometimes, eh!

Fuzzy Toes, Eh!

This little piggy went to take a snoozer.
This little piggy stayed on their woobie.
This little piggy had salmon,
This little piggy had none.
And this little piggy went "Meow! Meow! Meow!" all the way home.

Well, actually I guess they're kitties not piggies, eh? And I guess one of those lines has to be removed because cats only have 4 toes to reference, not 5... well unless you're my roommate Frankie who is polydactal... dang, this really didn't work, did it? *MOL*

Hope your toes are happy too, eh!

Hit The Jackpot, Eh!

Greetings!

It's Sunday, but there is no sun today. Not one ray, eh! It's cloudy and windy and cold.

I however am having great fun inside playing with our kitty jackpot! The Boy's grandparents send all family kitties $2 each at the holidays. In Canada, $2 comes in a coin called a Toonie. Here in the U.S., it's a silly looking bill that not many humans use at the stores. Crazy, eh!

As you can see, we have $10 because there are 5 of us! It's been so exciting to sit with my roommies and wonder what we could do with all this money. A tub of catnip? More cans of salmon? A new set of fuzzy mice? The possibilities are endless!! Because my roommates are sleeping, I'm currently in charge of watching the Christmas Jackpot.

Since I'm so large, I'm in charge!! *MOL*
I love the smell of U.S. money, eh!

Oh! A kitty meeting just got called. I think we're taking a vote on what to do with our cash. Meow at you later!!

Purrs,
Boo

American Thanksgiving, Eh!

Hello Boo Buddies!!

I know I haven't posted in awhile, I've been a very busy boy - considering it is hockey season, you can understand my hectic schedule!

Today is the American Thanksgiving. It's one of Keebler's favorite holidays as she loves meat. What Niece and The Boy haven't told her though is they are not cooking a turkey. They are actually going out to eat with family. I wonder if they'll get her a take-home kitty bag?

I sat and looked over Facebook this morning with Niece and it seems that many people say things they're thankful for, so I decided to interview the kitties around here regarding what they are thankful for and this is what they said, eh:

Lila: "I am thankful for being cancer free, my squishy bed by the window, my favorite huggie mouse Mr. Grapes, lying on the floor in the sunshine, and my mama."

Newbe: "I will be thankful when you're done askin' me questions you big maple leaf lovin' weirdo. Now move along boy and let me finish my yoga. And go find me a human to sleep on later would ya?!"

Frankie: "Ummmm... do I really have to answer this question? You and every other thing around here, over there, upstairs, and downstairs makes me nervous. I gotta go!"

Keebler: "Oh this is easy. I'm thankful for salmon, tuna, mahi-mahi, turkey, chicken, ham, bacon, Doritos, cookies, sometimes pancakes, definitely wet food, being brushed, bossing you guys around, meowing in the middle of the night (cause it makes the humans get up), opening cabinets, and sleeping on my woobie.... did I mention mahi-mahi? Now back up big boy. I gotta finish up my 3 plate breakfast."

So there you have it folks. Four pretty different statements from four wacky ladies - but I love 'em!

As for me, I'm thankful for my new found family. Yeah, it's cheesy and sappy but what I can say, I'm a big lug!

Happy Thanksgiving, eh!!

Pawsitively Yours,
Boo

Scary Things, Eh!

Niece and The Boy brought home an alien machine. I mean I understand bringing home new cats that need homes, but let's not go crazy here, eh!

When it gets angry it turns orange inside and gets all hot. I think it could melt whiskers! Its outside is metal with a hard black protective suit. It also has these big glowing green eyes!! I can't believe they've let it into our house!!

It's super freaky... and when it is hungry, you have to feed it through its slots - and it has FOUR of them. That's just creepy. It seems to only eat carbs, which does make us happy because it doesn't want our tuna or salmon.

It appears to have a name. It is "Ken More". I guess it's a boy, if alien machines can be classified that way.

Here's a photo... I hope it doesn't scare you!!

Keebler said she'll stay up at night and make sure it doesn't try to take over the kitchen, especially since that's her "crib".

Boo Man

Thanksgiving, Eh!

You know what I love about being Canadian but living in the U.S.? I get TWO Thanksgivings! Canadian Thanksgiving is coming this Monday, October 11th, and United States Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 25th. Whiskertastic, eh!?

According to Wikipedia (which I think should be called Whiskerpawdia):

Canadian Thanksgiving is a celebration of being thankful for what one has and the bounty of the previous year. For me that would be my bounty of salmon, kibble, fluffy couches, and brushings.

American Thanksgiving is also a harvest celebration started by the Pilgrims and the Indians. Today, Americans are thankful for parades with giant balloons, football, pies, and pants that stretch when you eat too much - but my favorite part is being thankful for post-turkey-eating naps!! See humans go into food comas when they have turkey for dinner, and that's when us cats climb up and snuggle tight. Or if you're Keebler, you wait until they fall asleep and then steal turkey legs from the counter.

I would like to wish all of my Canadian friends a great Thanksgiving on Monday and all my American friends a wonderful 2 months of hockey until you eat turkey and pie. *MOL*

Pawsitively yours,
Boo a.k.a "Nap Master Biggins"

Birthday Blast, Eh!

Sorry it has taken me so long to post since my big birthday bash. It was such a big night it's taken me this many days of cat napping to recover.

Check out these whiskertastic photos!

Here I am waiting for my guests to arrive.

Maybe I'll take a nap before they get here...

Here's my birthday party plates and our fabulous salmon dinner!

Keebler and Newbe came to dinner. Lila and Frankie decided to meet us at the club later.

Newbe and I were ready to go party Vegas style, but Keebler stayed behind with the salmon. She eventually showed but had a hard time rockin' out with that big belly full of fish!

Here I am getting ready to hit the dance floor with the gang. I had some great moves like the Canadian Cha-Cha, the Feline Funk, and the Paw Polka. It was a blast!

And back to my normal gig the other 364 days a year!

Meow at you later!!
Boo
