Fresh Air, Aye!

After a long and hot summer, (ok I have to admit, I didn't know it was hot as I was inside with some lovely air conditioning) last night and this morning it was finally COOL! Cool like when Niece opens the refrigerator or freezer and I stick my head in. Cool enough to open the windows and get some fresh air. Ahhhhhh, it smells so good! And I can hear the birds!! I was wondering why they were so quiet as I looked out the windows every day. I knew they talked.

The internet says it is 62 F degrees (17C). I don't know what I think about this F degree thing, but I must meow-speak as the Americans do, aye?!

Anyway, here are a few photos of Keebler and I standing in the open window in the office smelling the cool breeze and watching all of the birds in the giant tree out front. What a glorious morning!

Here I am trying to encourage the others to come take a look! "Come on guys! I mean girls!"

Just enjoying the view...and being a polite gentleman by letting Keebler have front row seating.

That bird better not joke with us! We'll get 'em!

This Cat Is Crazy, Aye

This is one funny dude! Too bad he doesn't know how to drink out of a bowl like the rest of us, it would keep his head dry if he did! Enjoy the video - just push the play button in the middle!

Get Your Bracelets, Aye!

Now I know all of you ladies out there love to shop - I've seen it! The Canadian Mafia (as I like to call it) can perform tactical manuevers on a mall unlike any other gang of foxy mamas I know! Shopping is embedded on the DNA of those from the Island.

Niece just got a really pretty blue bracelet from www.petcancerawareness.org

It is a non-profit that donates money to pet cancer research. It was started by the food company we eat kibble from - and it is some TASTY kibble!! It is all natural with chicken breast, cranberries, carrots, sweet potatoes, - none of those words or ingredients I can't read!! Niece gets it at that magic store, PetsMart. I even heard from Peggy Sue that their dog food is just as tasty and good for you!! And it is made here in the U.S..

Anyway, back to the shopping and the jewelry... For $2 (U.S., not a tooney) you can get a bracelet too! The proceeds go to the charity so amazing places like big Universities can conduct research and stop the #1 killer of dogs and cats.

Lila is a survivor of feline breast cancer, and I'm so proud to write this on my blog today!!

So go get'em super shoppers!! Buy your bracelets!!

Pawsitively yours,
The Boo Man

Thumbs Up, Aye!

If I had thumbs I'd put them both up for my friend Lila! After her surgery, she did very well recovering (she didn't even have to wear one of those head cone thingies they give us - I hate those, they're so silly) and then the vet took out her stitches last weekend. They did say that her lump was cancer so this past week she went for an ultra sound. Guess it's this magic machine that sees your insides! Sounds cool...

They said all her insides looked normal, unfortunately though her outside doesn't because they shaved her belly!! She's half naked! I've been a gentleman and have not looked. Guess the magic machine doesn't work if you have fur on.

So it looks like Lila won't have to get in the carrier again any time soon. And it looks like she'll be here to nap away the days with us. I'm glad.

Hope you all have a great weekend! It's a holiday weekend here so I get Niece and The Boy for 3 days instead of just 2. That will be nice. I love when they're home. It's very interesting. Even though it is good when they're at work because I get to nap in peace. They're noisy when they're home!

Pawsitively Yours,
Boo
