Purrs and Meows!! Boo Man here to countdown the end of 2011 and make my list of New Year's resolutions. Here we go!
1.) Increase snoozers by 35%.
2.) Decrease kibble noms by 2% while increasing salmon by 5%. Time to balance out my carbs and my proteins, eh!
3.) Help Niece find my nice new Canadian flag collar Santa brought me. She's really starting to get annoyed now, eh!
4.) Shed less and foof more. I gotta keep it lookin' rad on this hockey body, eh!!
5.) Demand more belly rubs and fewer squeezer hugs from Niece... but not after noms and salmon. That makes me wanna have a yak attack, eh!
6.) Help Niece with her homework so she can manage my blog and Twitter more. My fans are getting restless. If she keeps slackin', I'm going to have to cut back on her loonie and toonie meow manager pay, eh!
7.) Finally catch that cheeky little laser dot - what a HOSER!
8.) Win the 2012 regional staring contest so I can move onto nationals.
9.) Watch more hockey... which may make Resolution #1 tough to achieve. (Here I am celebrating Canada's hockey gold medal in 2010! I was doing the hockey happy dance, eh!)
10.) Demand respect of my rad hockey body at the vet's office. I'm defensive fluffy not offensive fat.
Hope your 2011 was faBOOlous and here's to a whiskertastic 2012, eh!!
Pawsitively yours,
Boo

Meow Year's Resolutions, Eh!

Help Some Kittehs, Eh!
If you've read my meowgraphy, then you know I come from a beautiful island in Canada called PEI... which might I add is close to the word PET! *snicker snort*
Anywhos, the wonderful Humane Society there did an anipals shout out on Facebook and could really use some canned cat food. Now I'm not a fan of the stuff myself, but the roommates seems to stumble over each other to get it from Niece every night, so I guess there are quite a few kittehs who love the stuff, eh!
So to all my friends in Canada who may be close to the PEI Humane Society, stop by and give them a can or two. The kittehs will be ever so grateful... maybe one will give you the infamous Canadian Cat Kissy Face and you'll take them home too, eh!!
Furever grateful,
Boo Biggins

March Madness, Eh!
Niece and The Boy have these crazy things called "brackets" for some event called March Madness. I guess it's the sport of basketball, which does exist in Canada - but when you have hockey, who cares!?!

Snow In Canada, Eh!
There has been some wacky weather going on. When I look outside in the mornings, there's a little ice on the street. The pigeons keep trying to poke at it - why I don't know. They're pigeons and they're not so smart sometimes, eh!

Big Boy Bed, Eh!

Now this bed definitely does NOT make me look fluffy. Having a big boy bed really suits my strong Canadian stature! It's good for my back too, eh!
I especially like the manly bedding - no pink, no foofy, no ruffles (even though the number of throw pillows is borderline). And if I'm not mistaken, these rings look kinda like Olympic rings... and if I may kindly remind everyone, Canada won both men's and women's hockey gold at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Let's pause for a moment of silence while I purr the Canadian national anthem, eh!

You may now resume your regularly scheduled snooze fest.

Mulder, Eh!
As many of you know, I have a Twitter account. As of yesterday, I have over 1,000 tweets! Exciting, eh! My tweets show up on my blog over there to the left in my "Twitterbox" (get it, it's like a litterbox? *snicker snort*).
Twitter is kind of fun as I have anipals from all over the globe! Yuppers, I'm not the only tweeting cat (or dog or guinea pig or bird or rabbit) out there. There are tens of thousands of us. It's a nice community. I've learned cool things from my Twitter pals and even taught them a few things about life as a Canadian cat in Las Vegas.

Today was a bitter sweet day though. One of my first Twitter pals Mulder (know as @Mulder_Cat on Twitter) had to cross the Rainbow Bridge.
For those of you not familiar with the term, it's a beautiful verse written about when us anipals go to heaven. Here it is:
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

So, Mulder had been sick for awhile with that horrible thing we all hate - cancer. Mulder liked to call his human "Staff" which was just hilarious. Staff took great care of Mulder and tried every treatment there was. Mulder did well for awhile, but recently that hoser cancer became too strong. (And hoser is a nice term, I could use something way worse here!)
From what we can tell in the Twitter community, Staff seems to be doing ok for losing his anipal today, and in common Twitter fashion, @Mulder_Cat was giving updates from OTRB today! (I've recently learned this power is possible.) Sounds like he even took his iPad over there, eh! *snicker snicker*
He said he was back to his normal weight, had his front claws back, and had wings - just like my brother Smoke! I dropped Mulder a tweet and asked him to give that bossy brother of mine a big old thwap on the head up there. I said he couldn't miss him - he's the big fat gray cat from Canada. *MOL* Mulder said, no problem he was on it!
It's great to know humans and anipals can still talk to any of our loved ones whether its through prayer, dreams, or OTRB Twitter! *MOL*
Mulder has a sister still here on Earth. Here name is Scully. Mulder says that Scully will take over bossing Staff around. Sounds like a solid kitty plan to me!
One of the best things I think Mulder shared with us on Twitter is how to build a kitty tuffet. It's basically a wonderful warm, snuggley blanket pile. I told Niece and now they're my roommate Frankie's favorite!
With happy thoughts of Mulder,
Boo Man

Things I Notice, Eh!
Since I moved from Canada to the U.S. to live with Niece, The Boy and The Roommates, I've spent a lot of time watching all the activity around here, eh! Now that I've collected significant data, I feel like I can make the following hypotheses (yeah that's a big word, I saw Niece use it once.)
#1.) Humans don't particularly love going to work.

#2.) Humans love to watch television.

#3.) The Roommates hate the doorbell.

#4.) Humans do not like mornings (see #1).

#5.) The Roommates can sleep anywhere at any time.

I'll continue to gather data and post more observations again soon!
Pawsitively Yours,
Boo

Rainy Days, Eh!
Greetings from raintastic Las Vegas! It has been nothing but rain and clouds, coulds and rain around here. Niece said she drove in fog today too. Yup F-O-G! What is this San Francisco? *MOL*

Well, since we can't sun our bellies, it's just been a snooze fest. Here's the proof.
Keebler doesn't know how to get comfortable, eh? *snickersnort*

Newbe can almost make herself look like a donut!

Lila was being a bed hog, eh?

I was kinda bored because everyone was asleep! Do you like my cushion? My human mom made it for me. I brought it from Canada!

You may notice that there is no photo of Frankie. She was hiding from me. She's pretty shy but some day I hope to be friends.
Well, I'm going to go do my sunshine dance and hope it brings some rays soon!

Hit The Jackpot, Eh!
Greetings!
It's Sunday, but there is no sun today. Not one ray, eh! It's cloudy and windy and cold.
I however am having great fun inside playing with our kitty jackpot! The Boy's grandparents send all family kitties $2 each at the holidays. In Canada, $2 comes in a coin called a Toonie. Here in the U.S., it's a silly looking bill that not many humans use at the stores. Crazy, eh!

As you can see, we have $10 because there are 5 of us! It's been so exciting to sit with my roommies and wonder what we could do with all this money. A tub of catnip? More cans of salmon? A new set of fuzzy mice? The possibilities are endless!! Because my roommates are sleeping, I'm currently in charge of watching the Christmas Jackpot.
Since I'm so large, I'm in charge!! *MOL*
I love the smell of U.S. money, eh!
Oh! A kitty meeting just got called. I think we're taking a vote on what to do with our cash. Meow at you later!!

Boo Buddy Birthday, Eh!
Greetings Y'All!! (Like my southern accent? I saw it on a Pace Picante commercial during a hockey game, eh!)
Today we have a Boo Buddy Birthday - Curley from Canada is 3 (or 21 if you do the human conversion)!

Now we all know what fun and crazy things happen when you're 3 (or 21), right? First off, you no longer have to show your cat ID when going to PetSmart for catnip. You also have the right to stop by the hampster cages and bet kibble on those spinny wheel things they run in. If three hampsters all stop in a row you win like 2,000 kibble! Plus, you can stop by the front counters and buy a pretty feline one of those foofy drinks mixed with cat milk and decorated with a toy mouse umbrella.
Now some people say that Curley and I look alot alike (here I am and Curley is above):

I'm totally cool with that because I think that Curley and I would make excellent "pawmen" (I think humans call them "wingmen" but that really makes no sense because humans have arms, not wings... birds have "wingmen". Humans really need to get a clue, eh!)
Yup, just Curley and I out on the floor at PetSmart - struttin' our stuff. We'd be pretty handsome Canadian hunka hunka chunka chunka's. Plus I'm older so the felines could have their choice between my maturity, stature and sexy tube socks or Curley's dashing youthfulness and snazzy stripes. Not to mention we both can bust-a-move and cut a rug on a rug!!
Happy Birthday Curley! Have a cat milk cocktail for me dude!

Pet Food Heist, Eh!
My roommate Keebler just found the greatest website ever for anipals everywhere on the internet. It's called Petflow and they deliver any kind of pet food you want to your human's house!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!! So here's what we all can do, eh.
1.) When your owner is asleep, have one heist team member sleep with them (purring of course to distract them) while another sneaks into their wallet and gets their credit card.

2.) Then when your owner is at work the next day, get on their laptop (because it lets you sit on the couch of course) and go to Petflow's website and order the goods!

3.) When the UPS man comes, and you're done being freaked out by the doorbell, have one kitty from the heist team hoist another kitty up to open the door and then scoot the package inside.

4.) Use your claws to open the package AND "discard" of the evidence. (Shredding is a kitty's specialty.) For me I'm going to have to rely on my heist mates as I left my claws in Canada.

5.) Then store the food in all those places we hide when our owners can never find us. (Even though I'm "fluffy," I can still find places to hide!)

Remember though, we don't know how to use can openers so get food that comes in bags!

Montreal, Eh!
Niece went to Montreal for business. I wish I could have gone too and seen Canada again, but who am I kidding - I already did that flight once and that was enough. So I just asked her to bring back some photos. Here they are:
Yuppers I've flown with these guys - they were very nice, but I didn't get the in-flight kitty snack or movie. That was rude, eh!

After many hours of flying, she made it!

Look a Canadian flag! Pawsome, eh!

Niece found a Subway restaurant and all the menus were in French. Oui Oui, eh!

Niece had a great hotel downtown.

Niece said it rained. Cats don't like the rain, eh?!

Canada is pretty, eh!

Meow at you later!
