Pawesome Saturday, Eh!

My roommate Lila went to the vet today for a check up (I know, I know, it sounds scary since we don't like the vet, but she was very calm) and all external signs seem to show that she is still cancer FREE! That's such amazing news, and I'm so happy because I really like Lila - she's a great friend.


I was so excited to hear that her weight was the same, her belly was good, her temperature was normal. I guess they took some blood, but she said it didn't hurt and she got lots of chin scratches. The vet will call later this week, which I'm not going to like because I hate when the phone rings, but it's important because they can tell us more information that way.

Lila said she had fun riding in the car and enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air. She was happy to get home though because she was hungry and ready for a nap, eh.


She also said that a very handsome kitty named Chance lives at the vet's office and he was sitting on the counter. He had blue eyes and one funny ear. Lila said he was great at welcoming patients and making them feel at home.

I Think I Can, Eh!

Today was a breezy happy day in Las Vegas. Some say it's windy, but us kitties love the breeze, especially me. It blows my luxurious locks around, and I like like a feline Fabio, eh!

When the first window was opened, it was a kitty free-for-all. Newbe got there first and then Keebler, and it appeared there was no room for me, but I stuck with it and finally succeeded in owning the window. I got one wack to the head by Keebler, but I remained calm. My human mom always said, "Boo, you're such a gentleman." So, I was polite and didn't swat back at Keebler.

Ever since I moved, I've neglected Canadian holidays. I thought maybe it would be helpful if I listed them here and reviewed them.

February - Family Day or known to me as Islander Day
May - Victoria Day
July - Canada Day
August - Civic Holiday
December - Boxing Day

We also have holidays that are like America's but a little different
September - Labour Day
October - Thanksgiving
November - Remembrance Day

Then there are the usual
New Year's
St. Patrick's Day
Easter
Christmas

Then there are the smaller known cat holidays
January - Hairball Day
March - Bird Watching Day
April - Fish Celebration Day
June - Snoozer Day

But at the end of any holiday, regardless of country, this guy has the right idea!
